Liverpool and Aston Villa go head to head for Celtic playmaker

리버풀과 아스톤빌라가 셀틱의 플레이메이커를 놓고 다투고 있다.

Aston Villa have joined Liverpool in the race for Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng with the view of making an offer worth £10m after enquiries proved successful last week.

Celtic have already received enquiries from the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Liverpool and have slapped a £10m price tag on the creative South Korean. Whilst Ki only joined in 2009, the Scottish outfit would be willing to accept offers of that amount in order to add more players however it is believed that Liverpool are certainly not prepared to offer £10m and would be looking to pay only £7m.

This has left the field open for Aston Villa to make their move which would not only mean enrolling a player of good quality but improve the club’s fansbase in Asia.
